ARS-TECNICA: digital fabrication workshop

ARS-TECNICA is a digital fabrication and woodworking workshop, a hands-on experimental space where CAD design, laser cutting, CNC milling, and benchtop power tools serve a single purpose: turning an idea into tangible matter to test whether and how it works.

This website is neither a commercial storefront nor a catalogue of mass-produced items. It is a logbook and workshop notebook. By the time a piece is finished, it has already served its primary purpose: testing a tolerance, checking the fit of a birch plywood joint, understanding material behaviour, and teaching me something new. Once a build is completed and logged, that piece becomes part of my technical know-how, making way for the next construction challenge.

From 3D model to workbench: process over mass production

Visitors will find hands-on workshop notes from an ever-evolving journey: watch stands, compact bench organisers, technical enclosures, and everyday carry (EDC) gear. There are no assembly lines or off-the-shelf duplicates here; each piece stems from a specific need, goes through engraving tests and test cuts, and documents the steps required to achieve the final outcome, mistakes and adjustments included.
